Complete Sniper Class Overhaul
The Sniper is a class of precise ranged damage whose combat system splits into single-target and area attacks. Single-target damage is built around , which fires two arrows in succession, and — the main nuke with +12798 additional power and 10% defense ignore. The AoE line includes , (★★), (★★) with the Ignite effect (HP potion recovery −5%), (★★★), whose damage scales with the Ice Storm effect by up to +20%, and (★★★), which pulls enemies in and strikes twice. The rework expanded these skills' max levels, raised their armor penetration and increased their hit counts.
The class's key mechanic is the focus mode (★★★): it raises attack and defense, extends attack and skill range by 300, and converts the entire AoE line into single-target 'Pierce' versions (Gust, Spiral, Spinning, Burning and Flame Pierce), letting the sniper concentrate all damage on one target. The Sniper also pressures enemies with bow-resistance debuffs: applies Bow Weakness, lowering the target's resistance to bow attacks by up to 40%, and upgrades into a multi-hit skill. Among the reworked 'Pierce' skills, Spiral Pierce additionally applies Hold.
The buff system is built around legendary enhancements. (★★★★) grants +25% attack, +20% physical skill critical rate and damage, and a 50% chance to add an extra hit to Lethal Shot, while its pinnacle (★★★★★) raises attack by +30% and +3000 and adds +20% pull chance. (★★) gives +3000 attack, +15% physical skill crit and −10% to their cooldown, plus a 50% chance to add an extra hit to . Some crowd control moved into buffs: (★★) became a buff that applies Immobilize on attack, as does . The defensive ultimate caps it off — +5000 P. Def, +25% evasion against all skills and +30% debuff resistance for 20 seconds (the rework shortened its cooldown and added effects).
The passive tree was reworked too. (★) — the former active Triple Shot turned into a passive: +5% attack, +500 defense, +10% crit and +10% PvE damage. (★★) scales power with DEX, granting up to +10% attack and +15% PvE damage at DEX 75+, restores MP on a Double / Lethal Shot crit, and and had their max level raised (+2000 attack and +800 defense, +8% all skill power, +2000 HP). The attacking arsenal is crowned by (★★★★★), available in the Legendary Archer: Master transformation: +15000 power, 15% defense ignore, the Focus Sniping effect (penetrating the target's skill evasion) and the now-baseline Focus Arrow extra hit with a ×2.3 critical multiplier. In the rework its HP penalty was removed and its physical-skill-power effect was replaced with the Legendary Archer buff.
In the end the Sniper became a flexible long-range damage dealer combining single-target burst and area damage with a unique focus mode , strong bow-resistance debuffs (), control via Immobilize and Pull (, ), and a multi-stage system of legendary buffs and transformations. The support active skills and (removing stealth within a 1000 radius) round out the kit.
